Steve Jobs Famous Quotes

Steve Jobs has passed away on October 5, 2011, which suspected because of his pancreatic cancer. You must have been familiar with Apple Inc. and all their products, which include MacBook, iPod, iPad, and iPhone. However, I don't think that those gadgets are Steve Jobs most precious legacies. Instead, I choose his brilliant and revolutionary mind as the things that made this world a brighter place.

As an attribute to the Apple Inc. co-founder and former CEO, now I post some of Steve Jobs inspirational and famous quotes, which most of them perfectly describe his vision.

"Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works."

"I want to put a ding in the universe."

"Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower."

"Sometimes when you innovate, you make mistakes. It is best to admit them quickly, and get on with improving your other innovations."

"Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn’t matter to me … Going to bed at night saying we’ve done something wonderful… that’s what matters to me."

"Why join the navy if you can be a pirate?"

"I’ve always wanted to own and control the primary technology in everything we do."

"We don’t get a chance to do that many things, and every one should be really excellent. Because this is our life. Life is brief, and then you die, you know? And we’ve all chosen to do this with our lives. So it better be damn good. It better be worth it."

"That’s been one of my mantras — focus and simplicity. Simple can be harder than complex: You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple. But it’s worth it in the end because once you get there, you can move mountains."

"I think if you do something and it turns out pretty good, then you should go do something else wonderful, not dwell on it for too long. Just figure out what’s next."

R.I.P and Good Job Steve Jobs (1955-2011)!

Obviously Not a Geek

Have you read our older post about stupid PC costumer? For those who're familiar with the tech world, or even called themselves geek, those kind of honest mistakes seem to be impossible to happen. But hey, there are a lot of people out there that have "real life" and not depend on computer, internet, and social networks. Those are the kind of people that rarely touch a PC, or just once in a while, when they really need it.

These are another collection of true story about "stupid" PC user. Well, probably not all were true, but at least these are make sense:

Long Password

During a recent PASSWORD AUDIT by the bank, they found that Rick was using the following password:

MickeyMinniePlutoHueyLouieDeweyDonaldGoofyLondon

When they asked me why Rick had such a long password, he replied:
''Are you frickn' stupid? I was told that my password had to be at least 8 characters long and include one capital!''

Overheard in a computer shop:
Customer: "I'd like a mouse mat, please."
Salesperson: "Certainly sir, we've got a large variety."
Customer: "But will they be compatible with my computer?"

A friend once received a fax with a note on the bottom to fax the document back to the sender when he was finished with it, because the sender needed to keep it.

Computer Problem

Ted had a computer problem yesterday, so he called Eric, the 11 year old next door, whose bedroom looks like Mission Control and asked him to come over.

Eric clicked a couple of buttons and solved the problem.
As he was walking away, Ted called after him, 'So, what was wrong?

He replied, 'It was an ID ten T error.'

Ted didn't want to appear stupid, but nonetheless inquired,
'An, ID ten T error? What's that? In case I need to fix it again.'

Eric grinned.... 'Haven't you ever heard of an ID ten T errors before?
'No,' Ted replied.

‘Write it down,' he said, 'and I think you'll figure it out.'

So Ted wrote down:

ID10T

Ted used to like Eric, the little b*stard.
